Orlando® TPFx (Tibial Fracture Brace) Tibial Section for Tibial Plateau Fractures The pre-fabricated Orlando TPFx can be effective for non-operative or post-operative treatment of tibial fractures, following internal fixation of these fractures or following the removal of an external fixation device. Designed by biomechanical engineers in conjunction with an orthotist with over 30 years clinical experience with fracture bracing on a custom basis. Does not include, but can be used with any shoe insert design.
- Clamshell (Bi-valve) configuration provides firm compression of soft tissues
- “PTB” style trim & mold shape provides rotational stability
- Bi-directional straps provide equal distribution of circumferential forces
- Padded anterior shell with ventilation holes for increased comfort
- Easily modified polyethylene construction
